Quality Auditor
  • Conduct regular product inspection and testing for WIP (Work-In-Progress), FG (Finished Goods), processes, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Review documentation and records to verify adherence to quality policies and procedures.
  • Identify non-conformities, deficiencies, or areas for improvement during audits and investigations and generate quality inspection and audit report documentation.
  • Collaborate with department managers and personnel to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions to ensure effectiveness.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and procedures.
  • Ensures material, product, and manufacturing process meet company and customer requirements.
  • Performs material testing, aluminum billets, and products.
  • Generates, records, and analyzes mechanical and chemical reports.
  • Supports and implements corrective actions for continual improvement.
  • Supports APQP/New Program Launches and activities.
  • Quality Auditors serve as contingency backups to support Quality Technicians when needed within INTEX plants.


As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing the quality management systems, processes, and procedures within the organization. You will conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Your objective is to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

The job requires physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting. Lifting weight up to 50 lbs., using of various hand tools and instruments, and working under extreme temperatures is required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Quality Management, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in quality auditing or quality management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations (ISO, IATF, etc.).
  • Reads and understands blueprints and GD&T.
  • Working experience in metal production, specifically aluminum, is preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Minimal travelling within the region and outside the region may be required and valid driver license is a must.
  • Certification in quality auditing (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor - CQA) is preferred.
