    Key Responsibilities:

  • Injection Mold Process Development: Develop, configure, and optimize the injection mold process from inception through to start-up and certification.
  • Mold Handover Monitoring: Monitor and commission mold handover from Engineering to production by following mold handover guidelines.
  • Best Practices Development: Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and output quality.
  • Mold Issue Management: Manage mold issues and provide solutions to ensure efficient production.
  • Data Analysis and Process Assessment: Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data to drive improvements.
  • System Design and Testing: Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes to enhance productivity.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize and standardize product requirements and processes.
  • Production Support: Support production teams to solve operational issues (Root Cause Analysis) and implement solutions.
  • Design Review and Improvement: Work closely with the Injection Mold Engineering Team to conduct design reviews and improve existing molds.
  • New Mold Development Coordination: Coordinate new mold development with international colleagues and toolmakers.
  • Tool Refurbishment Coordination: Coordinate tool refurbishment activities to maintain production efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering is required; Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in the injection molding field, with expertise in mold process, mold systems, mold flow, and shrinkage analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze statistical data, track injection molding issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Team Management: Ability to manage teams to achieve goals, drive improvements, and engage in production processes and quality enhancements.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with process-related standards and health-safety regulations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, SharePoint, Power BI a plus)
