Technical Support Specialist

Our client, a global power solutions leader, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join their team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be part of the Digital Products & Applications supporting the IT Department. The ideal candidate will have clear communication, adaptability and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
Location: Remote, Must reside in EST/ CST hours
Pay Range: $15- $17/ hr
What's the Job?
- Support the day to day operations within the Customer Support group of triaging / prioritizing incoming defects, to tracking and facilitating technical resolution by coordinating between our user and our Digital Product Support & Software development teams to investigate, troubleshoot, & resolve issues related to cloud, digital applications, or device issues.
- Manage the process for Customer, equipment, & device registration.
- Works with sales force, customers, and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical or engineering issues.
- Prepares operating manuals, reference materials or training materials for customers and the sales force.
- Be the customer advocate for quick & quality resolutions and provide input / testing on product development and/or enhancements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree minimum
- Experience in Customer Support / Account Management in an Application Software related field
