RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide clinical counseling and connections to additional treatment as needed for Jobs-Plus members
  • Provide clinical counseling services for Jobs-Plus members, on site at the Jobs-Plus program at least 2-3 days a week
  • On-site services would be delivered in a manner that ensures privacy and confidentiality for those receiving services
  • Meet all goals set by funder for clinician position
  • Perform additional duties and task as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), or a licensed psychoanalyst, Required
  • A minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice experience
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, database management and other standard business technology is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents.
  • Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation.
  • Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work.
