US Case Manager

The primary task of the Case Manager is to ensure the safe and expedited release of UCs ( Unaccompanied Children ) to potential sponsors that meet the ORR criteria for release. The Case Manager, in consultation with the Clinician, is responsible for assessing the needs of each UC in care. The Case Manager, along with the Clinician, also develops, implements, and coordinates Individual Service Plans (ISP) for UCs. These plans are oriented toward safe family reunification, preparation for return to the country of origin, transfer to a higher level of care or a less restrictive setting, or transition to an alternative living arrangement once legal immigration status has been obtained. Furthermore, the Case Manager consistently documents the provision of services in each UC's case file. Bachelor's degree in Human or Social Services field preferred. A genuine respect for and interest in children. Must possess exceptional time management & detail oriented skills. Ability to put into practice all techniques of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention ( as taught in pre-employment training ) and demonstrated respect for client's rights and safety.
