Job Title: Social Work Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Social Work Supervisor will provide clinical, administrative, and case management supervision to Caseworkers/Case Managers and Social Workers/Clinicians in a residential treatment setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and making required deadlines as per NYS ACS/DSS/OCFS/CSE standards, agency policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to Caseworkers/Case Managers and Social Workers/Clinicians
  • Monitor and track progress towards treatment goals
  • Ensure compliance with NYS ACS/DSS/OCFS/CSE standards and agency policies
  • Chair treatment and team meetings as necessary
  • Support the Clinical Director in their absence
  • Carry out work under flex-time to meet the needs of clients

Requirements:

  • MSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
  • Four years of full-time paid experience as a Social Worker in child welfare/foster care/DJJ/OCFS
  • Strong clinical and administrative skills to supervise Social/Case Work staff
  • Knowledge of NYS CONNECTIONS
  • Valid NYS Driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy
  • Knowledge of treatment of problematic sexualized behavior
  • Bi-lingual, Spanish
  • Experience working with older adolescents

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with Saturday and Sunday off.
