The Marketing Manager will have an enhanced focus on supporting all Athletics marketing and promotional efforts. The ideal candidate will have diverse experience in leading a wide range of marketing and gameday initiatives. This role will handle the design of various marketing collateral, involvement with community initiatives in the Sacramento area, and support on gameday with the placement of promotional signage, management of pregame and in-game activations, and overall run of show logistics.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Create and edit marketing creative, signage, and other supporting marketing pieces for use in-venue
  • Lead the placement on gameday of various graphics and promotional collateral to include print and digital pieces.
  • Support game presentation, including pregame, in-game activations, and postgame on-field activities and events
  • Assist in coordinating national anthems, first pitches and other on-field elements.
  • Manage in-game promotions for partners, food and beverage, and merchandise from concept to execution.
  • Coordinate attendance at designated community events including the scheduling of appropriate staff, supplies, collateral, and content capture during the event as needed.
  • Remain current on creative marketing trends and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Assist as needed with strategy and execution of marketing and ticketing initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • 3-5 years related experience in digital content management and social media.
  • Creative, fun, collaborative, and solution-minded individual.
  • Must have good communication and excellent storytelling/copywriting/copyediting skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong visual eye with regards to the creation of graphics and selection of images & video content.
  • Ability to produce and edit multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
  • Must be able to produce high-quality output while meeting specific deadlines sometimes under specific time constraints and/or tight deadlines.
  • Highly organized and self-directed with strong ability to prioritize.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree - Marketing or Communications preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
Compensation:

This position is a full-time, exempt role with an expected annual salary of $68,640. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
