In this role you will...

Possess a deep dedication to patient well-being, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding assistance to our clinic team.

  • Maintain and organize patient medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of all procedures, treatments, and medications.
  • Perform prior authorizations and appeals
  • Triage incoming phone calls and messages
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as collecting vital signs, conducting physical assessments, and obtaining patient medical histories.
  • Facilitate patient lab work by preparing ordered labs and pathology samples to be sent out
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
  • Assist nursing team with daily duties to include: laundry, sterilizing rooms
Compensation: $20-$24/ hour plus annual bonus
Location: On-site- Omaha, Nebraska
Status:Full-time, Non-Exempt

Current schedule: Monday-Thursday

We are looking for someone with:
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other external parties in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
  • Previous experience in a dermatology clinic or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Team focused mentality: jump in where you can to minimize wait times.
