The Quality Control Manager leads the Back of House (BOH) team, driving product quality, kitchen timelines, system adherence, and food safety.

In this role, the Quality Control Manager will:
  • Ensure Kitchen timelines are met within company standards and manage the guest experience as it pertains to the Back of House staff.
  • Monitor food waste and inventory levels
  • Know and comply consistently with our standard recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen procedures.
  • Resolve any food quality issues that arise
  • Ensure that the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired a quickly as possible
  • Ensure that the kitchen itself and all team members meet the necessary guidelines to ensure there are no injuries

Requirements

What are we looking for?:
  • Must have 3+ years kitchen management experience in a full service, moderate to high volume restaurant
  • High-energy, proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work (and have fun) in a diverse team

  • Attention to detail
  • Passionate about food
  • Culinary school background a plus
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Texas State food handler's card within 7 days of hire
  • Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving quickly
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus
