About the Role

Anza seeks a Technology Engineer, Solar responsible for fostering the data life cycle and cultivating new interactive ways for our Customers to engage with the information on our one-of-a-kind procurement platform.

The technology Engineer responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for the technical evaluation of solar modules on our platform
  • Manage and improve upon the data standards and communicate with the Supplier Team and Manufacturers directly on how to meet or exceed the requirements 
  • Lead company innovation through technology watch in the field of responsibility.
  • Support strategy deployment by conducting technology watch and providing inputs to the product management team 
  • Ensure development and maintenance of required standards and related internal training
  • Provide expertise either externally or internally to support services execution, including technical analysis support.
  • Propose development/acquisition of tools, equipment and methodology to support services execution.
  • Train Sales and Customers in technical Platform services (Anza Standards, feature filtration and comparison) 
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs to ensure efficiency of the process within scope of responsibilities.

While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:

  • Must have 3+ years experience in Solar, preferable to Quality Assurance Labs or Insurance/Financing Partners
  • Have demonstrated an ability to structure and quality control data for PV systems
  • A passion for renewable energy, addressing the climate crisis, and accelerating the clean energy transformation
