As a Process Engineer at Spectrolab, Inc., a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, you will play a crucial role in advancing our manufacturing processes at our facility in California.

We are recognized as the leading supplier of high-efficiency multi-junction solar cells, with a legacy of reliability spanning over six decades.

Your contributions will support the production of solar cell wafers and assemblies, ensuring our products power satellites and the International Space Station.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide ongoing engineering support for the production processes.
2. Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to maintain process integrity and troubleshoot issues.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational objectives.
4. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovative product development.
5. Support R&D initiatives aimed at enhancing solar cell technology and cost efficiency.
6. Promote a culture of safety and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in semiconductor processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly with solar cell devices.
- Familiarity with photolithography, thin film deposition, and etching processes.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as VBA, LabView, C, C++, and SQL.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and lean manufacturing principles.
