POSITION SUMMARY:
Interprets physician's orders, performs evaluations and assessments; designs and implements plan of care; maintains treatment and progress reports; drafts and/or presents oral or written reports of patient's status; collaborates with team members toward reaching patient's goals.
Starting Wage: $73,440.00
The posted wage is the current starting wage for this position. Actual wage is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience and qualifications for this position. The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification/Licensure:
- Current State of Hawaii OT licensure.
- Current NBCOT certification as an OTR.
- Current BLS certification
- Completion of competencies and other job-related and REHAB requirements.
- Graduate from an ACOTE accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
- Ability to safely and effectively manage patients' mobility.
- Ability to clearly communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to safely provide care to patients.
Skills/Experience:
- For Inpatient: One (1) year physical rehabilitation experience.
- For Outpatient: Minimum two (2) years physical rehabilitation experience.
- For Hand Clinic: One (1) year experience in hand rehabilitation, participation in at least one (1) splinting workshop which includes dynamic splinting principles.
