About the Role

Hawaii Pacific Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Pali Momi Medical Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech-language services and consultation to inpatients and outpatients at medical center locations and contract sites.
  • Work with patients who have difficulty producing speech sounds, such as rhythm and fluency problems, stuttering, voice disorders, cognitive communication impairments, or those who wish to improve their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including audiologists, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to help patients achieve their communication goals.
Requirements
  • Current Hawai'i Speech Pathologist license.
  • Current American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification.
  • Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card.
  • One (1) year general speech language pathology experience preferred.
