Overview of the Human Resources Director role:

  • Perform disciplinary investigations, actions, and terminations
  • Full-cycle recruiting: interview, hire, onboard, and train new staff members
  • Direct employee relations, recognition programs, development programs, and performance reviews
  • Administer wages, benefits, and leave
  • Oversee occupational health and safety programs, ensure compliance of HR policies with labor law and best practices
  • Analyze organizational trends and review HRIS reports
  • Develop and implement department budget

Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Director:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • Minimum five years of Human Resources and supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with ADP is a major plus
  • Highly effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
This role is fully onsite in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
The annual salary is between $89,850 and $99,840 depending on experience.
