Our client is an organization in the Greater Milwaukee area looking for a Tax Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, analytical, and a team player. This company offers a strong team with tenure and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this position is $60k - $85k.

The Tax Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively participate in the quarterly and annual tax provision process including gathering data and documentation.
  • Preparing supporting documentation for internal reporting and external financial reporting.
  • Utilization of OneSource software, SAP ERP system and other software systems.
  • Support federal and state tax audits by gathering information requests, responding to inquiries, and day to day management of audits.
  • Assist with the preparation of income tax quarterly estimates and extensions calculations.
  • Work closely with staff and treasury to coordinate payments.
  • Assist with annual reports, business licenses and tax notices.
The Tax Analyst will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • 1+ years of experience with corporate federal and state income taxes. Public accounting experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting or tax preferred.
  • Familiarity with OneSource and SAP ERP software platform or other similar tax software platforms.
  • Strong data analytic skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
