Position Overview:

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the integrity of our system hardware and software, ensuring both cloud-based and on-premises systems adhere to organizational policies while enabling a productive and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and troubleshoot server and storage needs to minimize business interruptions.
  • Maintain and manage server hardware, storage, security systems, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Azure cloud services.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, providing support and escalating issues as needed.
  • Implement and administer security measures to protect data and hardware.
  • Manage software licenses and evaluate new software solutions for users.
  • Create and implement server and storage solutions to meet business needs.
  • Monitor and report key performance metrics related to the IT infrastructure.
  • Administer backup and recovery processes to safeguard data integrity.
  • Oversee email administration and licensing management for organizational efficiency.
  • Conduct problem analysis ensuring effective systems troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Perform system administration, console operations, system monitoring, testing, and upgrades management.
  • Administer VPN configurations and manage IT backup, network, and security software.
  • Operate under a comprehensive understanding of operating systems.
Expected Skills & Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in IT technologies with a focus on enterprise-level data network management.
  • Three years of experience in server/operating system management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019, Linux-based systems, Azure Active Directory, and cloud service management.
  • Expertise in configuring, installing, and supporting PC/workstation hardware and software.
  • Experience with backup/recovery, system monitoring, and technical support.
  • Proficiency in network security software and VPN administration.
Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization, particularly with Azure workloads. Familiarity with Debian infrastructure tools such as nginx, docker, apache, postfix, xen, bind9, and Jenkins.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Apps for communication and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of IT backup software, network software, and operating systems.
