Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership and Management: Lead cross-functional data analytics projects aimed at optimizing distribution center operations. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, establish timelines and milestones, and allocate resources effectively to ensure successful project execution from initiation to completion.
  • Strategic Data Analysis: Apply advanced analytical techniques to analyze data from the Manhattan SCALE database and SCI platform, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization. Utilize statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling to generate actionable insights that drive business value.
  • Advanced Visualization and Reporting: Develop and deliver advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations using the SCI platform, Cognos, Power BI, or custom-built solutions. Translate complex analytical findings into clear and compelling visual presentations for stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Forecasting and Predictive Analytics: Develop sophisticated forecasting models and predictive analytics leveraging data from the Manhattan SCALE database to anticipate demand fluctuations, optimize inventory levels, and improve resource allocation within distribution centers. Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, supply chain, and IT, to understand business requirements and drive alignment on data-driven initiatives. Effectively communicate project updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring their engagement and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation within distribution center operations through data-driven insights and recommendations. Develop and implement solutions to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement across the distribution network.
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data governance standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Establish and enforce best practices for data management, including data privacy, quality assurance, and documentation, particularly within the context of the Manhattan SCALE database and SCI platform.
  • Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, distribution, project management, and supply chain management. Continuously enhance technical skills, domain knowledge, and project management expertise to drive innovation and excellence in project delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Extensive experience in data analysis, project management, and preferably in distribution center operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying, particularly with the Manhattan SCALE database.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing the SCI platform for developing reports and dashboards.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other languages for statistical analysis, machine learning, and automation.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional data analytics projects from conception to implementation, delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and project management expertise with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience developing software for logistics or supply chain management systems (a plus).
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation (a plus).
  • Exposure to common WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan) (a plus).

The anticipated compensation range is
22.75 - 44.50 USD Hourly
Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
