Our client, a nationally renowned non-profit organization, has revolutionized the building solutions industry over the last five decades through innovative initiatives and strategic partnerships.

They need you, an experienced Network Security Engineer , to join the technical team located in Austin, Texas Please note, this is a hybrid role, so you’ll need to live in the Austin, TX area to be eligible for consideration.

What you get to do:

-Design network security strategy and create comprehensive cybersecurity architecture

-Develop, carry out, and monitor security performance as it pertains to network infrastructure and computer systems

-Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure hardware and software

-Create and implement a comprehensive company-wide infosec strategy

-Train staff on infosec system best practices

What you need to succeed:

-5+ years of network engineering AND network security experience

-Several years of experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration

-Proven mastery of firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers

-Hybrid experience with both on-prem and cloud servers (customer-facing servers are in the data center, data warehousing is in the cloud; AWS and/or Azure exp preferred)

-Previous hands-on auditing experience (NIST, SOC, etc.)
