The Construction Administrative Coordinator is responsible for serving community residents as the construction and maintenance documentation specialist. In this role, the Construction Administrator will coordinate all construction dispatch and reporting, while also addressing questions and resolving concerns about network deployment and construction related activities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Dispatches contractors to resolve customer install turn backs and locate turn backs
  • Contacts existing and potential customers concerning any problems or concerns they might have as a result of the construction process; facilitates resolution via internal or external means
  • Documents concerns, research practices and resolutions in order to improve construction processes;
  • Works closely with Construction Communication and IA Manager as well as Director of Construction to generate and maintain performance reporting;
  • Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to determine construction related turn back issues and dispatch appropriate response teams
  • Skills in customer service with the ability to deescalate tense situations
  • Ability to coordinate internal and external resources to resolve residential complaints
  • Skills in reporting and visual and verbal presentations
  • Knowledge and understanding of company products and services;
  • Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computer, various software programs, and telephone systems;
  • Skill in multiple communication methods, including oral, written, facilitation, and public speaking;
  • Ability to think strategically, with strong decision-making abilities and investigative skills;
  • Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments;
  • Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand;
  • Ability to remain highly adaptive, flexible, and shift strategies on short notice as environment dictates;
  • Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail with little direction;
  • Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Proven success collaborating and building strong relationships with customers; demonstrated ability to manage customer escalations and drive to desired outcome is required.

Experience with SmartSheets, Excel, Outlook and Word preferred.
