Summary:

Zapata Technology is seeking a cleared Software System Integrator III to support the Tactical Ground Station (TGS). This position is partially remote. When there is active configuring, candidates could be required onsite up to 5 days per week. When not in active configuring, mandatory onsite is 2 days per week. The Software System Integrator III is responsible for supporting application profiling verification and assurance for critical systems and reviews systems for production performance readiness with a focus on efficiency, resiliency, reliability, scalability, required monitoring and alerting, and adherence to development and implementation standards.

Job Qualifications:

Qualifications and Skills include:

  • Supports proof-of-concept activities for new applications and technologies from a standards, performance and nonfunctional analysis perspective, including general product assessment, implementation planning, testing and evaluation, tuning, and KPI identification.
  • Collects and defines requirements; translates them into functional design documents; and participates in the technical design, test planning, and user documentation processes.
  • Participates in integration efforts between line-of-business systems and finance systems.
  • Works with users and peers in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications.
  • Participates in software design, prototyping, construction, and testing of new or enhanced accounting-related applications.
  • Assists in training users on new or enhanced accounting-related applications. The Software System Integrator III delivers overall functionality and project delivery.
  • Assigned to a specific TDP team and familiarize themselves with their IT needs.
  • Organizes and executes deployment (including cloud deployment), maintenance, and administration of virtual environments (including cloud).
  • Supervises and mentors subordinate project and team staff.
Certifications: DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II required.

Desired Certification in one of the following: Certification in AWS Solutions Architect Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Platform Associate Engineer or equivalent.

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree and nine (9) or more years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Education Level & Degree Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. HS and 13 years of experience; Associates and 11 years of experience. A candidate holding a relevant master's degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.


Working Conditions:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
