Key Responsibilities:

Work Order Coordination and Trailer Repairs (Primary Focus):
  • Process, track, and manage all work orders, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion.
  • Create detailed customer repair estimates, manage parts procurement, and schedule repairs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure repairs adhere to quality standards and timelines.
  • Oversee repair workflows, resolving delays or issues to meet customer expectations.
  • Close work orders upon repair completion and ensure proper recordkeeping.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor stock levels for parts, raw materials, and supplies, and reorder as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Optimize storage and organization for accessibility and efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory movements and usage.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of work orders, repair logs, and inventory usage.
  • Generate reports on work order status, inventory levels, and repair outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and audit requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve repair turnaround times and inventory workflows.
  • Provide feedback on systems and suggest innovative solutions for operational challenges.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ensuring both repair processes and inventory are efficiently managed, coordinating logistics and keeping operations running smoothly.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in operations management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in work order scheduling, repair process coordination and inventory management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate the warehouse to reach items at varying heights.
