IT Procurement Buyer

As an IT Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the renewal of IT related products and services for multiple Koch businesses. We are searching for a contribution motivated team member with an entrepreneurial mindset own and meet the objectives for internal business partners. Whether leading conversations to discontinue unused support spend on an aging desktop application, right sizing software subscription memberships based on real time usage data, or helping to optimize support agreements for existing software, be part of a team that builds Preferred Partnerships internally and externally to drive virtuous cycles of mutual benefit.
Our Team
The KGS IT Procurement team is a global, leveraged capability supporting procure-to-pay and asset management functions for all of Koch's operating companies. We have teams in the US, Mexico, India, Europe and Asia-Pacific. The team supports global procurement of IT hardware, software, SaaS, and miscellaneous spend.
What You Will Do
- Manage the end-to-end renewal process for IT products and services.
- Collaborating with key business partners to understand product requirements, evaluate value and options, align strategies and articulate the requirements to suppliers.
- Perform Contract/Agreement review to meet negotiated terms & conditions and evaluate vendor adherence.
- Analyze spend data to identify opportunities to aggregate purchases, negotiate price discounts, and obtain contracted pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and external vendors, and act as a trusted advisor for IT procurement matters.
- Provide support in the 3-way match process, helping resolve invoicing discrepancies with suppliers and accounting.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve the user experience.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience
- Experience developing productive and respectful relationships with internal and external partners
- Experience prioritizes multiple tasks and strong attention to detail
- Experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft products
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management or other supply chain/procurement related program
- Experience in procurement/sourcing of IT hardware and software
- Negotiation skills, contract management experience, or supplier performance management experience
- Prior work experience in IT, or Business-related field
- Experience with Coupa, Ariba and/or SAP procurement software
