Job Summary:
The Buyer ICoE is responsible for executing and managing strategic procurement activities for a variety of indirect goods and services. This role serves as a key liaison for multiple business units within the organization, ensuring alignment with the Indirect Center of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders while promoting ICoE principles and procurement best practices.
- Deliver exceptional service to business unit clients across various functions, including Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety, Food Services, Marketing, and Human Resources.
- Assist in the formulation of sourcing strategies and manage purchase order processes.
- Negotiate contracts for indirect purchases and services, collaborating with the ICoE Commodity Manager to identify optimal solutions.
- Gather customer requirements for sourcing initiatives through the development of Statements of Work (SOW).
- Facilitate the RFx process in collaboration with business unit procurement teams.
- Lead negotiations for supplier contracts, including renewals and amendments, to support business unit objectives.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in line with ICoE and organizational goals.
- Maintain and update existing contracts, ensuring compliance and relevance.
- Keep the ICoE Office of Records informed with the latest contract documentation.
- Utilize supply chain management strategies to enhance performance metrics.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree is required in:

Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, program management, and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Experience in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
