The corporate team consists of approximately 40 individuals across four main functions: investments, operations, marketing, and support functions.

Roles and responsibilities, amongst others, for this position include the following:

- Act as the central point within the Company for US tax compliance, tax advice and queries and liaise externally with tax consultants

- Coordinate and prepare information for US tax returns, allocate responsibilities, communicate timelines and leverage off local tax work where appropriate

- Keep register of tax compliance requirements globally

- Track and report withholding tax globally

- Track and manage hybrid tax matters between different jurisdictions

- Assist with intercompany settlement across regions by providing advice on US tax implications

- Assist in maintaining the group structure chart and pro-actively identify opportunities for simplification. The structure has historically been tax driven and needs to keep up to date with changes in tax legislation.

- Coordinate FATCA reporting with tax consultants

- Assist in implementing transfer pricing protocols and documentation requirements globally and monitor ongoing compliance

- Assist in establishing of new series companies or asses prior established US Series

- Facilitate US tax due diligence review on acquisition of companies/assets globally

Experience and Education requirements

- CPA & Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience with US tax returns for a flowthrough company with international businesses

- Experience with complex organization structure, trusts, holding companies, partnerships (Form 1065)

- Experience with international taxation, foreign tax credits, withholding tax matters

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

- Intellectual curiosity, appetite to do things better and proactive nature

- Strong technical and general accounting and finance knowledge

- Must be comfortable dealing with complex, ambiguous and challenging issues

- Initiative and a proactive approach, balanced with strong analytical and technical skills

- Ability to analyze and improve processes; and to develop, explain and foster best practice

- Roll up your sleeves and can-do attitude, energetic, forward-thinking personality

- Excellent communication skill
