Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and manage a team of tax professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive team performance and growth.
- Tax Expertise
- Assume full responsibility for larger, more complicated tax returns and delegate tasks to team members as needed.
- Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide expert advice to clients.
- Client Relationships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their tax compliance and planning needs are met.
- Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to attract new clients.
- Collaborate with partners and directors to develop and implement business growth plans.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting required.
- CPA certification required.
- Experience
- 7+ years of tax experience in a CPA firm setting.
- Skills
- Strong technical skills in tax preparation and review, tax compliance, and tax research.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and think creatively.
