Supervisor: SVP Development
Job Summary: Responsible for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities for: management, capital raise, and investment. Work closely with the SVP Development and the executive team, to develop and execute strategies to maximize business development, across management and investment areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify, analyze and procure new third-party management contracts.
- Identify, analyze and procure management company candidates for merger/acquisition.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to result in third party management opportunities.
- Capital Raise / Investment:
- Identify, analyze and procure debt and equity capital/relationships.
- Identify and analyze capital investment opportunities.
- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to assess investment risks and potential returns.
- Prepare investment proposals and presentations for internal review by the ALH Investment Committee.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management on capital raise performance and investment activities.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team to define long-term strategic objectives and goals of business development and the raising of capital.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop actionable strategies to position the company for sustained growth and competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in hospitality business development or capital investment roles.
- Full understanding of hotel owner / investor needs, and ability to instill trust and confidence.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work within financial models and legal contracts.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrate leadership ability and a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
