Description

Rothman Orthopaedics is looking for a Patient Access Offline Specialist to join our team The Patient Access Offline Specialist handles inbound and outbound calls for all specialties as well as overseeing assigned tasks on a day to day basis. If you are qualified for and interested in this role, please apply.

Job Title: Patient Access Offline Specialist

Hours: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat: 8am - 6:30pm (will work 40 hrs/wk)

Location: fully remote, but candidates must live in PA, NJ, FL, TX, or SC

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED minimum education requirement
  • Intermediate computer skills required
  • Must have 1+ years of high-volume call center experience
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred, though healthcare experience not required


Essential Duties:
  1. Answers telephone on ACD line, register patient, screen calls and schedule appointments as suggested by Salesforce.
  2. Handles all incoming and outgoing calls to assigned skills.
  3. Maintain meeting/exceeding in scorecard metrics.
  4. Send detailed messages when required via eCW pool.
  5. Must remain up-to-date on specialty team emails and resources.
  6. Be active and properly communicate in all assigned team glip messages.
  7. Expert level Chabot knowledge of all specialties.
  8. Handles RO Connect calls.
  9. Rescheduling bumped appointments as directed by Supervisor.
  10. Comfortable communicating with physicians, care teams and office staff as needed.
  11. Communicate specialty concerns to Specialty Supervisor, all other concerns to direct report Supervisor/Manager.
  12. Additional duties and responsibilities as delegated.
  13. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
