Title: IT/Admin Support Technician

Reports to: IT Administrator

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Job Type: Full-time

FSLA: Non-Exempt, hourly

Purpose:

In this entry-level position, the IT/Admin Support Technician will provide support across the company’s IT platforms (software and hardware) and assist other departments with their administrative needs. This position will provide both IT and administrative support, troubleshooting, and training to the company’s users. The role will work in conjunction with the IT Administrator on IT-related projects and tasks as needed.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

· System administration – manage fuel island, security system, customer portal, tablet EMM, phone system, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, camera system, WiFi access points, fuel tank monitoring, etc.

· Helpdesk – diagnose and resolve user concerns.

· User training – security system, computer, software, phone, cybersecurity, etc.

· Documentation – maintain accurate and informative records about systems, processes, and completed work.

· Software development – maintain and expand internal applications as needed.

· Licensing – maintain appropriate licensing for O365 users, shop diagnostic software, and other subscription-based systems.

· Battery backups – regularly test workstation and server battery backup systems.

· Additional administrative duties from various departments as assigned.

Education & Experience:

· Generally proficient in computer applications.

· 1+ year(s) of problem-solving IT-related experience.

· Associate’s degree or IT certifications.

· Programming experience (C#, VBA, SQL).

· Complete support of and willing adherence to NHT’s mission, vision, and core values. Applicant must hold these standards as his/her own.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:

The IT/Admin Support Technician will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain and boredom. The IT/Admin Support Technician may also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time. The IT/Admin Support Technician may have to manage several projects at one time.

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
