This position has primary responsibility for developing new business opportunities with NDC's manufacturer partners for its data services and solutions including rebate contract administration services, sales tracings, and other data and insights offerings. We are seeking a professional and dedicated sales-minded individual with experience in technical sales to market our data services to NDC's established base of manufacturer partners. The Data Services Business Development Representative will be responsible for landing new business to achieve revenue targets set by the company in Manufacturer Rebate Processing Services, Manufacturer Sales Trace Fees, and additional services and solutions in the future.
Essential Functions

  • Build and maintain professional relationships internal and external to NDC.
  • Perform data analysis to identify opportunities
  • Identify key contacts and develop strong relationships within the designated target markets
  • Prepare and present professional sales proposals and presentations that align with client business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct sales calls on the phone and video conference
  • Assist onboarding new business to the operations team
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM
  • All employees are expected to protect the confidentiality of patient health information
  • Perform other duties as required
  • 4-year degree preferred in a related field (business, accounting, data analysis)
  • 2 years direct job-related experience (healthcare supply, technical sales experience preferred)
