Purpose

The Warehouse Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of our on site distribution center, assisting the General Manager with merchandise management using a retail management system (SAP). They supervise the activities of Warehouse Team of Associates and Drivers.

Warehouse Manager Key Accountabilities:
  • Oversee and the daily activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise to stores.
  • Implement cost saving strategies for company.
  • Utilize data analytics to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency
  • Supervise daily activities of warehouse associates and drivers.
  • Create Schedule to ensure all shifts are covered.
  • Process deliveries to terminals accurately and efficiently, adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Work closely with procurement, sales, and other departments to align warehouse activities with overall business goals.
  • Manage the warehouse budget, including expenses for supplies, equipment, and labor.
  • Use computer systems to manage accurate inventory for warehouse operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse transactions and activities.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff.
  • Ensure the warehouse facility is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Implement product rotation based on product code dates in the warehouse and stores.
  • Follow all security and safety procedures established by the Company and Branch.
  • Ensure accurate and timely ticketing according to branch standards.
  • Process information from related ordering and receiving forms according to company standards and accurately enter it into SAP
  • Maintain effective communication, coordination, and working relationships between associates and management.
  • Drive company vehicles.
Specific Required Qualifications:
  • SAP experience required.
  • Experience in Supply Chain/Logistics.
  • 2-5 years of managerial experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to drive a truck safely.
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with a Safe Driving record that meets company requirements.
