The role will require someone who has in-depth experience with Microsoft SQL Server versions 2016 and greater and will have a background using MS SQL Server and be able to understand SQL design concepts, practices, and procedures. Will identify business requirements, performing data analysis, creating, and maintaining reports, writing SQL queries, designing, and coding stored procedures, and leveraging SQL technologies to automate business processes.

The position will also be responsible for providing oversight and support of ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains financial system), Sales Pad, and any supporting applications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Guide and help design/develop database objects, stored procedures, views, reports, jobs, indexes, functions, tables, and triggers; ensure their stability, reliability, and performance.
• Assist developers with optimizing application performance across the entire SQL landscape.
• Maintain the general finance modules in Dynamics GP: including Receivables, Payables, Inventory, Cash Management, General Ledger, and Procurement.
• Troubleshooting of advanced issues in GP, SalesPad, ISVs, and other ancillary applications.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot various problems that arise in the day-to-day operations and fix the issues.
• Refine and automate business processes, track issues, and document changes.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.

Skill Set
• 3+ years of experience in software development using MS-SQL Server 2012 and later, T-SQL and T-SQL language (queries, views, procedures), SQL Server database design, stored procedure design, and implementation. • Experienced in MS SQL Server programming and SSRS report development. • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP, SalesPad, and/or similar ERP and, Distribution/Supply Chain, or E-Commerce Applications
