Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Saxon Global is seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for implementing business logic in Oracle DB packages, functions, and procedures that support the development, deployment, and support of large mission-critical enterprise Web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement database logic in Oracle DB packages, functions, and procedures
  • Assist in the design of application architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance
  • Follow established coding standards and naming conventions
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of PL/SQL development experience, including experience in creating and maintaining large packages, stored procedures, functions, record structures, tables, views, indexes, and triggers
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles
  • Experience with Restful Web Services (Web API/REST API), Git, Azure DevOps pipelines, Microsoft.Net Core, and scripting languages such as PowerShell
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

  • Self-motivated individual with strong desire to solve problems through investigative means; strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively, as well as function effectively and collaboratively within a team
