seoClarity is seeking a Technical SEO Analyst with 3 to 5+ years of SEO experience to join the Technical SEO team. This full-time position is a great opportunity to join an expanding team as well as to support, collaborate and learn from working with some of the largest brands in the world.

In this role, you will help build the core set of Technical SEO service offerings for seoClarity that will be responsible for delivering actionable, data-driven recommendations to enable clients' growth.

The Technical SEO Analyst's core responsibility is to use the extensive data and capabilities made available within seoClarity (server logs, site crawls, analytics, search console and more) to conduct strategic technical SEO analysis. We go beyond checklists of best practices to leverage the invaluable context provided by connecting multiple data sources. We will identify opportunities, and document and prioritize recommendations to deliver to clients. Clients should be able to take our findings to their dev or other support teams to implement changes for positive results.

The Technical SEO team maintains accountability for its work by partnering with the client and Client Success team to monitor and evaluate the effect of recommendations the client implements.

The Technical SEO Analyst is a consultative point-of-contact for clients and internal teams providing technical SEO expertise and guidance. The priority skills for this role are strategic and analytical thinking, clear communication, and understanding of the SEO funnel. You can clearly explain the relationships between search engine crawling, indexing, ranking, and traffic.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of three days per week in the office.

Technical SEO Analyst Role

  • Provide technical SEO analytical support for clients on an ad hoc basis or as part of an ongoing strategy
  • Use and improve existing standard operating procedures to conduct analysis and create recommendations
  • Contribute to new procedures and methods to deliver value to clients
  • Identify and document internal product improvement opportunities
  • Responsible for reviewing the work of teammates and providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal team to maximize value to clients
  • Train cross-functional internal team on procedures and platform use for technical SEO
  • Present data, recommendations, or training to clients and internal team members
Technical SEO Analyst Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large volumes of data and ability to mine data for insights
  • Ability to extract business value from data
  • Ability to recognize and advocate for new data sources to acquire and integrate to increase value
  • Prefer experience in technical SEO or SEO product management for large websites
  • Prefer experience managing or analyzing the SEO aspect of domain or URL migrations, CMS migrations, template changes, launch of new site sections, etc.
  • Demonstrate understanding of complex technical concepts, and ability to communicate those concepts clearly and simply
  • Proven experience with SEO platforms (seoClarity, SearchMetrics, BrightEdge, Botify, Lumar, On Crawl, Conductor, Ahrefs, SEMRush)
  • Prefer experience analyzing server log data for SEO
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources to find SEO insights
  • Previous experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other analytics software
  • Advanced Excel or SQL skills
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web design technologies a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Looker, Power BI and Tableau
  • Experience presenting in person and remotely; PowerPoint skills a plus
  • Proven ability to work independently, but also collaboratively
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines
