In the Senior Counselor role, you will help this company in its commitment to serving others by providing counseling to individuals and/or families using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational models and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis with independent supervision. Licensed Counselor- Part Time Works with individuals and/or families to address issues such as depression, addiction and substance abuse, stress, and problems with self-esteem. May also help with job and vocational concerns or parenting. Provide individual counseling and support services and family psychotherapy as appropriate to training and program participant needs with independent supervision Conduct assessments in the areas of mental status, personality, behavioral response patterns, relationships, and family interactions Facilitate counseling groups Participate in treatment planning with a trans-disciplinary team Consult with staff, insurance provider, family, and appropriate contacts regarding treatment recommendations and progress Ensure evaluation, progress, and discharge reports on each program participant are completed in a timely manner Adhere to accreditation standards and ethics of confidentiality Attend required seminars/meetings, regular discipline meetings and other meetings May provide supervision and in-house activities for program participants as needed Participate in Crisis Intervention System (On-call) Submits service summaries and billing slips for each program participant served, indicating objectives, strategies, and outcomes obtained Complete daily billing summaries and turns them in to appropriate staff Qualifications Master’s Degree in human services or related field required Three to five years of experience in related field required Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) / Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) / Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) / Licensed Psychological Practitioner (LPP) / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Independent Supervision Why Join Us?
