This position is being filled through PEAK Temporary Staffing Services of OU.

The OU Legal Clinic is a teaching clinic at the College of Law that serves low-income clients in criminal and civil legal cases.
  • Answer phones, route callers, and input messages into case management software; log in mail
  • greet visitors: this position is the face of the Clinic
  • Edit and print Client letters and documents for students and attorneys
  • Scan documents such as briefs, motions, and correspondence into case management software
  • Open new client documents by setting up new clients in case management software and traditional hard files
  • Copying and faxing documents.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED; AND:
  • 12 months office, clerical or administrative support experience.
Skills:
  • Working knowledge of office procedures
  • General office and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
  • Must be detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Ability to multitask, be organized, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work in stressful situations
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
