This position primarily consists of the following:
The Position:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for children with ASD in addition to other pediatric concerns (e.g. ADHD, Learning Disabilities, etc.)
- Provide psychotherapy to children and their families using evidence-based approaches
- Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team, including conducting interdisciplinary evaluations
- Provide feedback to clients and families after evaluation is complete
Qualifications:
- Psy. D. or Ph.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited university
- Completed an internship with an APA-accredited provider
- Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of Oklahoma (or license-eligible)
- Experience evaluating children for most pediatric concerns (Experience using the ADOS-2 preferred)
- Experience in the assessment and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Excellent communication and clinical writing skills
- Must have great problem-solving skills
- Strengths in both diagnostic evaluation and intervention is preferred
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Passionate about helping children and their families
