This position is being hired through PEAK Temporary Staffing Services of OU and is expected to last 4-6 months.

Under Direct supervision, assist in the day-to-day customer service needs to include calls for basic retirement information or corrections, assist walk in’s when possible, process changes and correction with Fidelity and insurance companies.

  • Communicates with members effectively regarding their benefits via phone, email, and in person.
  • Resolves routine employee/vendor benefits issues in a timely manner.
  • Update terminated/retired 401a status on vendor site. Complete distribution and rollover forms for participants.
  • Provides customer service support for all active employees and retirees.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.


Job Location

Required Education: High School diploma or GED, AND:

  • 12 months office, clerical or administrative support experience.

Preferred: 12 months of HR experience

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and build rapport with students, faculty and staff
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to apply basic math skills
  • Ability to collect and analyze data
  • Basic problem solving techniques
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
