Essentially, this position will be responsible for ensuring that every single item built (typically densely packed, mixed-technology printed circuit board assemblies) meets or exceeds industry/customer specifications and ships out with zero defects. Responsibilities: shall include, but will not be limited to: Manual placement and soldering of fine-pitch surface mount and through-hole components. Performing component and board level rework/repairs of assembled circuit boards. Assembling/disassembling electromechanical devices using a wide variety of hardware and hand-tools. Operation of inspection/assembly equipment, to include X-ray systems, AOI, aqueous cleaning machines and more. Monitoring assembly personnel and providing feedback/instruction etc. Lots more fun stuff. Full job description available upon request. Qualifications: minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing field with direct experience in an inspection/QC role. Thorough understanding of IPC-A-610 /J-STD-001 acceptability standards (certifications preferred). Familiarity with X-ray inspection systems and pass/fail criteria. Familiarity with IPC 7711/7721 rework & repair standards beneficial but not required at start. Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task. Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time (requires fine manual dexterity and good eyesight). Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship/permanent residency status. Position details: Permanent (new hires will be placed on a 90-day probationary period). Full-time, M-F, day shift (flexible start/finish times) and overtime as needed (evenings/weekends).
