Job Summary

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products, performing calibration and inspection tasks, and maintaining documentation and records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform calibration and inspection of parts, assemblies, and products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain calibration reports and procedures, and use gage tracking software to track and manage calibration data
  • Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and basic trigonometry to inspect component conformance
  • Use precision gauges, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to inspect components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
  • Maintain a high level of accountability and pride in work, and be organized, systematic, and detail-oriented
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical school and/or minimum 3 years' experience and/or training
  • Training in quality disciplines and metrology is preferred
  • Combination of education and experience considered
  • Experienced with GD&T and ASQ certification for mechanical inspection/calibration a plus
Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Outlook
  • SAP a plus
Work Environment

The Quality Control Inspector will work in a manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and loud noise levels. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, with proper lift assistance for any objects over 40 pounds.
