Position Overview

Leads team and independently designs, develops, tests, implements, documents, and supports enterprise systems and technologies, including configuration, reporting, and security. Responsibilities

  • Leads small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements and develops detailed work plans.
  • Works closely with business and IT stakeholders to gain user acceptance of application updates and integrations by defining business requirements and leading users through acceptance testing.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains applications and integrations by creating, managing, and executing business requirements, technical design documents, and test plans.
  • May manage four or fewer employees with respect to a project or a system, and responsible for team's performance, coaches and mentors team members.
  • Creates documentation and leads team through architecture reviews.
  • Develops estimates and capacity plans for general support and projects.
  • Manages the operational efficiency scorecard for supported systems.
  • Seeks continuous quality improvements for supported systems.
  • Creates and implements effective metrics and monitoring processes.
  • Recommends improvements and applies standards, processes, and procedures for enterprise systems.
  • Works with vendor to provide a multi-year road map for supported systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/ experience
  • 8+ years enterprise systems programming experience
  • 8+ years SQL database experience
  • 5 + years advanced development for ERP systems, with an emphasis on HR and Finance modules
  • 5+ years advanced development of integrations for multiple modules like Payroll and Benefits
  • 5+ years HR HCM Core knowledge and/or experience
Preferred:
  • Master's degree and/or LOMA certification
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The general pay range for this position is $120K-$130K per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
