Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Aircraft Inspector to join our team at AVMATS Jet Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the performance of scheduled maintenance and inspections, repairs, and modifications on all types of King Air aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems, components, and equipment to ensure airworthiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of technicians in the performance of maintenance and inspection tasks, providing guidance and oversight to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all maintenance and inspection activities are performed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure that maintenance and inspection activities are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance and inspection, with a strong background in King Air aircraft.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Airframe and Powerplant License issued under part 65 of the Federal Aviation Regulations required.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and equipment; excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
