Job Description: Construction Administrator
Location: New Albany, OH - fully onsite
Position Overview: A construction company is seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator to support the management of their badging process for subcontractors, purchase card reports, and office management responsibilities. This is a fully on-site, contract-to-hire position with a 6-month duration.
Key Responsibilities:
Badging Process:
- Oversee the management of at least 100 badges simultaneously across three different sites: North America, Dublin, and Hilliard.
- Handle the 2-4 week badging process for subcontractors, ensuring the completion of background checks.
- Efficiently receive ticket numbers and upload them into Smart Sheets (or Excel).
- Proficiency in Smart Sheets or Excel is required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of their subcontractors' status in the process.
- Manage the receipt and signing of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and ensure badges are issued promptly.
Purchase Card Reports:
- Manage a designated email address where foremen submit their receipts.
- Enter receipts into the designated software (training provided) and ensure accurate coding of receipts.
- Proactively follow up with foremen to remind them to submit receipts on time.
Office Management:
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other general administrative tasks.
- Perform office duties such as making copies, re-stocking inventory, and managing office supplies, food, and drinks.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Smart Sheets and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in administrative roles, particularly in a construction or related environment, is a plus.
Contract Details:
- Fully on-site position.
- Contract-to-Hire with an initial 6-month contract.
