Responsibilities

The Surgery Dept at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. Our new tower has provided additional surgery suites with the latest technology providing a wide range of patient surgical/procedural experience.

Our Senior Anesthesia Technician will coordinate anesthesia department activities including scheduling, patient care, product monitoring, stocking and maintain par levels of supplies, skills and equipment, education, processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains, calibrates and troubleshoots all equipment according to instructions and the protocols of equipment manuals. Performs pre-surgical preparation, set-up and equipment testing.
  • Stocks anesthesia supplies and drugs in all operating and delivery suites.
  • Performs arterial and intravenous catheter insertion and autotransfusion.
  • Preceptors, mentors and coaches for anesthesia technical skills and equipment usage.

Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance.

Qualifications Minimum:
  • Five years experience in the Operating Room setting as an Anesthesia Technician
  • Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia course, I.V. and Arterial line certification within 6 months of hire
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current American Heart Association BLS  
  • American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • ASATT certification
