My client are hiring for a VP of Software Solutions to lead the strategic and operational oversight of our cutting-edge intelligent technology solutions. The ideal candidate will spearhead the development and integration of software architectures that are robust, scalable, and AI-driven, aligning with our mission to revolutionize transportation technology.

As a VP of Software Solutions you will have the following Responsibilities:

Strategic Software Leadership:

  • Develop, refine and operationalize the software strategy for our intelligent technology solutions, aligning development projects with business goals and market needs.
  • Oversee the design and architecture of all software products, ensuring to leverage advanced technologies including AI and machine learning for enhanced functionality and competitive advantage.

Advanced Product Development:

  • Lead the planning, development, and lifecycle management of complex software solutions that integrate seamlessly with physical infrastructure.
  • Drive innovation in software design, advocating for and implementing cutting-edge technologies that enhance user experiences and operational efficiency.

AI Integration and Optimization:

  • Harness the power of artificial intelligence to optimize system operations and data analysis.
  • Develop strategies for AI implementation that improve decision-making processes, reduce operational costs, and create value-added services for clients.

Team Leadership and Talent Development:

  • Lead a high-performing team of software engineers, AI specialists, and infrastructure experts.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and accountability within the team.

Operational Excellence and Efficiency:

  • Streamline operations to ensure the delivery of projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Enhance the scalability of processes and systems to support growth and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Work closely with the risk management team to identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards affecting software and infrastructure.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ensure clear communication and strong relationships are maintained to support successful project outcomes and business growth.

Financial and Resource Management:

  • Ensure the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and resources effectively to maximize ROI and ensure financial health of the technology operations.

The Ideal VP of Software Solutions should have the following skills/experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on software development and artificial intelligence.
  • At least 7-10 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including substantial experience managing large-scale software development and infrastructure projects within the ITS or a related industry.
  • Deep expertise in software architecture, with a proven ability to design and implement robust, scalable systems that incorporate AI and machine learning.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a track record of transforming business ideas into successful technology solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide diverse teams towards achieving complex goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively negotiating and influencing across all levels of the organization.
