JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Director of Sales Assistant to join our Finance Department. This role focuses on creating and organizing as well as learning new skills in promoting and selling our unique merchandise online, in the center, and at various public events. The ideal candidate will embody our mission and values and feel very comfortable communicating and engaging with customers to raise awareness and funds for our current community cause. As a Director of Sales Assistant, you will assist our sales team in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer relationships. This Work Experience offers valuable experience in sales strategy, market research, and client engagement, providing you with insights into the sales process and leadership in a community environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Excellent Communication skills via in-person and over the phone.
  • Set up and manage merchandise displays at events and in the center.
  • Actively engage with customers and potential new customers, sharing the correct information about the merchandise and pricing.
  • Help organize sales events, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payment information in a trustworthy, professional manner.
  • Maintain inventory and restocking of merchandise in the center and the mobile equipment for events.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze sales data and performance metrics
  • Participate in community outreach and networking events that promote our mission.
  • Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays

Qualifications:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for our company mission and values
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends.

Physical Demands:

This position requires the employee to lift 25 lbs. Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking are

required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Starting Pay Rate $16 an hour

This is a full-time position. Hours of work may include weekends and evenings.
