Are you a visionary product leader who thrives on bringing cutting-edge AI solutions to life? Do you have a passion for driving innovation and turning complex machine learning concepts into user-friendly, impactful products? If you're excited about shaping the future of AI-driven solutions and delivering real business value through product development, then our client has the perfect opportunity for you. We're looking for an AI Product Manager (aka The Innovation Strategist) to guide the development of AI-powered products that transform industries and solve critical challenges.
As an AI Product Manager at our client, you'll be the bridge between AI technology and business strategy. You'll work closely with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure successful execution of AI initiatives. Your leadership will be essential in bringing AI projects from concept to reality, delivering products that users love and that drive tangible results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision and Strategy:
- Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy for AI-driven products. You'll translate business objectives and market opportunities into a clear roadmap for AI products, ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define detailed product requirements. You'll specify the features, functionality, and technical constraints that guide the development of AI models and systems.
- Work closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to ensure successful execution of AI projects. You'll provide clear direction, remove roadblocks, and keep teams focused on delivering high-quality AI-powered solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the AI landscape. You'll ensure that your AI products are ahead of the curve, addressing market needs and differentiating from competitors.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility, and user value. You'll manage the product roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategic goals to ensure continuous progress.
- Leverage data and analytics to guide product decisions and optimize performance. You'll use data to measure the success of AI features, gather feedback, and refine product strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Communicate product updates, timelines, and performance metrics to stakeholders, including executives, partners, and customers. You'll ensure alignment across teams and manage expectations for the delivery of AI projects.
Required Skills:
- AI and Machine Learning Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision. You're comfortable discussing AI concepts with data scientists and translating them into business value.
- Product Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing the full product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, with a focus on AI or technology-driven products. You excel at defining product roadmaps, gathering requirements, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Thinking and Market Insights: Ability to develop a strategic vision for AI products, based on market trends, user needs, and competitive analysis. You have a deep understanding of the AI landscape and know how to position products for success.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience using data and analytics to make informed product decisions. You're skilled at setting KPIs, tracking performance, and adjusting strategies based on quantitative insights.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. You can clearly explain complex AI concepts to stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience in product management is highly desirable.
- Certifications or coursework in AI, machine learning, or data science are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years working on AI-driven or data-intensive products. You've successfully delivered AI solutions that had a measurable impact on business or user outcomes.
- Proven experience working closely with data scientists and engineers to build and launch AI products in production environments.
- Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and identifying product opportunities in the AI space.
- Health and Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with low co-pays and premiums.
- Paid Time Off: Competitive vacation, sick leave, and 20 paid holidays per year.
- Work-Life Balance: Flexible work schedules and telecommuting options.
- Professional Development: Opportunities for training, certification reimbursement, and career advancement programs.
- Wellness Programs: Access to wellness programs, including gym memberships, health screenings, and mental health resources.
- Life and Disability Insurance: Life insurance and short-term/long-term disability coverage.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Confidential counseling and support services for personal and professional challenges.
- Tuition Reimbursement: Financial assistance for continuing education and professional development.
