Responsibilities of the NOC Technician:
  • Oversee the operations of the Network Operations Center (NOC), including the IT infrastructure of the organization.
  • Perform thorough assessments and in-depth technical analysis to identify and isolate root causes of issues and outages as they occur across the enterprise.
  • Accurately document incidents and escalate critical Tier 2 and Tier 3 alerts to the relevant technical support teams for resolution.
Must Have Skills:
  • 3+ experience working as a NOC or Data Center Technician
  • Experience with Network, Application and Server monitoring tools, specifically SolarWinds.
  • Experience installing and racking server and network-based equipment
  • Experience escalating Tier II and Tier III alerts to the appropriate tech support group
  • Prior experience working in a break/fix and/or Rack/Stack environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • CCNA
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
