Scheduling is flexible between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and daily onsite presence at the Phoenix BlackPoint office is required.

The selected candidate will provide remote and onsite support to clients, configure laptop and desktop equipment, and assist with shipping and receiving. As a Service Desk Technician, you'll be instrumental in helping clients tackle IT challenges and maintain smooth system operations.

Compensation
  • $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Smart-Hands Onsite support at client locations.
  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Assist users with password resets and account management.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Document and track support tickets using our ticketing system.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components.
  • Perform routine system updates and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve our support processes.
  • Creates and updates client system documentation.
  • Configure IT equipment and maintain inventory records.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of IT equipment.
Qualifications:
  • One year IT Service Desk experience; relevant associate's degree, coursework, or certifications; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interest in IT and technology.
  • Experienced in Active Directory Administration.
  • Experienced with MS365 Administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus.
