Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies, products, and services to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Lead customer segmentation work. Establish differentiated positioning and go-to-market plans for solutions and marketing programs.
  • Tailor offerings based on segmentation.
  • Define pain points and opportunity areas within the customer journey. Test, measure and scale improvements. Partner with the account teams to implement and scale improvements.
  • In partnership with the Customer Insights team, conduct customer research and competitive analysis to inform the value proposition and messaging of new and existing products and services.
  • Create business case and get buy-in for new products.
  • Lead service offerings and go-to-market strategy for nascent segments, including the military audience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including analytics, paid marketing, marketing automation, creative, enrollment, retention, and account management to launch, measure and scale programs and services.
  • Lead, build and mentor the team.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of product marketing or lifecycle experience in B2C. B2B experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven experience in senior-level product marketing roles, with a track record of success developing and executing go-to-market and lifecycle strategies .
  • Proven experience developing the positioning, messaging, and content for products that serve multiple use cases and personas.
  • Ability to succeed in a matrix organization.
  • Proven experience utilizing a "test and learn" approach to continuously optimize messaging, including A/B testing, customer segmentation analysis, and performance tracking
  • Ability to size and prioritize market opportunities and build business cases, analyze competition, and collect and use customer insights using both qualitative and quantitative methods to drive strategic decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and measure performance
  • Proven track record of building and leading a team of individual contributors and managers
  • Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and challenging priorities
  • Knowledge of Tableau/Looker and Google Analytics
  • Work remote with some travel required
