Summary Reporting to the Director of Materials, the Inventory Specialist will assist in daily operations of the Materials department. Assist Materials department to ensure inventory is available when needed in support of aircraft maintenance activities within the hangar and while deployed to field locations. Have a working knowledge of the stores department inventory. Order and maintain a working stock of inventory. Daily oversight of parts cage, tracking parts and items for check out/check in. Check and maintain satellite storage hangars. Ensure calculations, quantities and part serial numbers correct when entering or pulling inventory. Exposure to industrial chemical smells, fragrances, animals, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
